That’s why our childcare at the Regional YMCA offers a variety of programs that offer a safe, stable and nurturing environment for children 3 years to 12 years old. From pre-school, part-time, full-time, before and after school, or school vacation care we are there to make your child’s day full of fun memorable moments.
PRESCHOOL (Ages 3-5)
The YMCA's NAECYC Accredited Preschool Program combines a safe and happy educational environment with stimulating and engaging learning experiences proven to promote school readiness. Childcare at the Regional YMCA offers a variety of programs that offer a safe, stable and nurturing environment.
For children ages 3-5 years, (not yet attending Kindergarten). Program focuses on physical, social, emotional development, concentrating on the individual child. Our qualified and nurturing staff sets us apart. Supporting families is our specialty.

Hours: Full Time/Year-Round: Monday - Friday (7:30AM-5:30PM); Part-Time/School Year: 9:00AM-12:15PM)

Early Start CT Program
This program is for children 3-5 year old not yet attending Kindergarten who are Danbury Residents. Programs are offered both full-time (year-round) and part-time during the school year and focuses on physical, social and emotional development concentrating on the individual child. Our qualified and nurturing staff sets us apart.
*This program is a State of Connecticut Funded Program; families will provide proof of Danbury Residency, income taxes, pay stubs, and child’s birth certificate.

BEFORE/AFTER-CARE (for school-aged children 5-12)
The Regional YMCA provides a nurturing, safe environment with enrichment and recreational activities for children Kindergarten through 12 years old, before and after school, vacation days/weeks, school holidays, early dismissals and snow days.
The Children's Center in Bethel offers a wide range of opportunities and activities to nurture their interests and explore the world around them. Our year round, experienced staff provides students with academic support and a safe nurturing environment critical to academic success. Our focus on Healthy Living and use of the Food and Fun Curriculum promotes good nutrition habits and allows for plenty of opportunity for physical activity on our large outdoor playgrounds and fields.

The Greenknoll Children's Center in Brookfield is a licensed program offering a range of opportunities and activities to nurture children's interests and explore the world around them. Children are given are also given plenty of opportunities for physical activity outdoors.
